About the art
The name ‘SAAP’ is an acronym for Sacred Art Always Prevails. This is a promise to the artist, and whoever wears this in their back, to always stay genuine and create for themselves. Saap prides himself in creating what feels right to him. Using all of his forms of art to express. No matter what, if you are being real with yourself in your art it will fill you. Not worrying about what will ‘blow up’ or how to become the ‘next big thing’ but rather creating for you and genuinely enjoying the work you create.
The star is a reminder of where we are headed. Regardless of any outcome, we shoot for the stars. Holding ourselves to a standard and living as if it already been achieved (because it has). This is also a notion to Saap’s clothing line ‘Black Stars’, which promotes the idea of black excellence and the highest level confidence.
